Derek plays a key role in the development and acquisition of the majority of the Riley Consulting group companies. He is a Partner of Henry Riley and Francis Graves as well as the Chairman of both RCPM and ESP.
Part of Derek's role is to improve the services that each company provides to collectively offer clients a mulit-disciplinary construction and property service and develop our CSR policy.
Derek has been with the firm since 1980 and has over 40 years' experience within the construction industry and is a chartered quantity surveyor.
His professional experience includes cost planning, procurement and post contract work on major works for clients in retail, commercial, mixed projects as well as running multiple programmes of work for clients in the retail, commercial, mixed use and leisure sector.
In 1999 Derek introduced the Investors in People accreditation to the group which has helped to improve staff dedication and motivation enabling staff to build on their continued professional development.
