Project Description:
The works on the Solent Business Park involved shell, core and Category A fit-out of a new three storey office block together with associated infrastructure works to create a total net lettable area of circa 50,000 sq ft.
The works comprised:
- A reinforced concrete frame
- Curtain walling, panel cladding and facing brickwork elevations
- Full Category A fit-out including 'doubling up' on number of cores, capital plant and an oversized reception area to allow for the potential future vertical subdivision of the office block into two self contained office blocks with the minimum of alteration works required
- All associated infrastructure works including access roads, car parking, pedestrian areas and landscaping etc.
Key Challenges:
- Time, cost and quality.
- Flexibility for potential future vertical subdivision into two separately functioning office block.
