Project description:

The projects delivered included management of the entire project team including internal staff, to ensure delivery to programme, budget and quality.    Duties consisted of the following:

  • Select design team through competitive tender process
  • Set the project procurement strategy
  • Secure project funding for both design and construction stages by sign off from client
  • Agree the project scope of works by liaison with the end users, lead designers, internal client and support department
  • Secure scope sign off
  • Hold risk management, value management and environmental, health and safety workshops
  • Tender and appoint a principle contractor
  • Set up and manage a change management procedure
  • Project close out and client handover

  • General laboratory refurbishments, conversions and relays (18No).
  • Specialist anti infectives relay
  • Specialist down flow booth upgrades
  • Fume cupboard upgrades
  • Insectory upgrades
  • Site wide comms rooms upgrade
  • Major programme of chiller replacement
  • Office fit outs
  • Library upgrade

Manufacturing

  • Milling projects upgrade.
  • New clinical supply and manufacturing project.
  • HTF Compressor project
