Leading Global Bank - Offices Architectural Framework Tender
Project Description:
Riley Consulting were appointed to manage the selection process of architects to be appointed on the Client's Offices framework. This process comprised; a pre-qualification exercise, competitive tender, initial report and recommendations and an interview process to select a preferred panel of architects.
The tender process needed to gauge each architect's ability to deliver a variety of schemes which differed in size, complexity and technical involvement. In addition, we needed to maintain a good mix of skills and services from the group as a whole, to offer the bank flexibility and expertise across a wide range of architectural disciplines.
A knowledge of the banks business was important but an ability to create vibrant, forward thinking, creative office space was paramount.
Key Challenges:
- Assembling a tender package that contained a variety of scenario's and adequately conveyed the full range of schemes delivered under the offices programme.
- Assessing the capability of the architectural practices whilst recognising the ability of the individual team members.
- Engagement and decision making process of internal stakeholders including group design.
