Project Description:
Project 1- Shell, core and category A refurbishment and modernisation of a 5-storey commercial office with approximately 78, 400 sq ft of internal floor area. Full internal strip-out and refurbishment, including £500K of external window replacement.
Duties include M&E feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract duties. The works comprised the following:
- Demolition, strip out and alterations to existing internal office layout.
- Formation of new toilet blocks
- New passenger lifts installation
- New chiller installation
- New four pipe fan coil unit installation
- General M&E infrastructure
- Cat A lighting and power installations
- New internal feature entrance
- Removal and replacement of all existing windows
- Cleaning and remedial repairs to existing stonework elevations to front
- New "upside down" roof construction
- Minor associated infrastructure works
Form of Contract: JCT Design and Build
Project 2- Full category B fit- out of a 5-storey commercial office building for the Metropolitan Police using a turn-key appraoch. Project to include open plan offices, cellular offices, a gymnasium, changing facilities and canteen.
Duties include M&E feasibility estimating, cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract duties work on to JCT 98 with contractor design.
Works comprised the following:
- Cat B Lighting and power installation
- IT Infrastructure & distribution
- Upgrading lighting and BMS control systems
- Canteen fitting out
- Fixtures/ fittings including furniture
